Pattern Limited by a Curve

And now an entry on how to make a pattern, that is limited by a closed curve.

 

It’s a typical example of making up for things that are missing in CATIA, but are present in other systems. This time thanks to Boolean operations. That method has yet one flaw (sometimes considered a merit… :-)) i.e., instances, that get intersected by a curve, get eliminated. But there’s nothing that can’t be done, you just need to try hard :-)…
