Template for demolded Hole

In the previous entry, I have described some of the methods for demolding a hole, when the direction of pulling and the assembly axis slightly diverge from each other. As I have mentioned before, the simplest way to do it is through PowerCopy or UDF. Here’s an example of such template :

                                                           

 

Input elements of that template are:

– base surface or plane,

– molding direction,

– assembly axis

 

Controlled parameters:

– draft angle,

– hole diameter,

– orientation of a hole in relation to the base surface or plane.

 

It took me a while to make sure that this template is versatile enough.

You don’t need to worry about any orientations of input elements – but that, how to approach the matter of templates, I’ll be describing soon…
